John's Story
Sadly, Jack passed away on May 21st, 2015. He was greatly loved and so, mightily missed!
I'm most happy with my grandchildren right now. My eldest just graduated from college and she is serching for a job in the event planning area as well as some substitute teaching. Alicia and Alexis turn ten this year. As my children are mostly in this area, within 50 miles, my wife and I get to see them frequently.
I belong to a small golf club in southern NH and from May to Oct. I get to play almost 5 days each week. I'n mot very good by I enjoy the friendships I've made at the course.
When Fall rolls around I return to the health club and do a bit of working out.
When we can we like to travel and have been to Hawaii 4 different times as well as Canada, Mexico, Florida, Ca, Ariz, and many of the other states.
This week we're headed to California, SanFrancisco t...Expand for more
o attend the wedding of a nephew and to see their first child, a delightful little girl who was born with a full head of hair. We will visit wine country and to the coast from SanFran to LA.
I continue to read novels and take pictures with my new Canon D40 digital. Occasionally we dine out with friends.
For many years we had a Christmas in July party at our home. Many friends have moved away but we plan to reinstate that next year. We did that for 28 years in three different homes, one at the ocean in Hampton beach NH, ONE IN Andover'MA, and at our current residence in Windham,NH.
I enjoyed my life in education as a teacher and a school principal for 38 years and have enjoyed my last 17 years of retirement.
I'm glad you got in touch as I haven't had any contact with the Mission crowd for a number of years.
Please tell me about yourself.
Thanks
Jack
